Cathy read What's a Grade Level, a dilemma about a transfer 2nd grader whose family insisted he was a 3rd grader.
Cecilia read Forgetfulness, and how from birth we store memory in bins, then forget where we put the bins. Every senior can relate.
Rose read a poem, Coupled With Defeat is Victory, how the tug and pull of family and daily life can be resolved.
Angela read her first draft of The Memory Keeper. A beautifully set scene in Ireland. We gave her our ideas to keep it going.
Marian read Frankly Frank sharing characteristics she remembers of her grandfather and family when she was a child.

Cathy read A Kindergarten Mystery. A funny recollection of a young student who found something unusual in his pants.
Cecilia read a poem, Take a Chance, about a childhood friendship that over the years turned into a romance.
Rose read a poem, Communication, asking "how a hurting heart can begin to share its pain."
Marian read Alias, siting Dr. Seuss and Mark Twain. It brought up a discussion of aliases and why published writers use them.
